Wineries

Eno-gastronomy represents one of the most characterizing elements of Ogliastra and is, therefore, one of the major attractions of the territory.

The wines, especially the famous Cannonau, a historical wine marking millenarian wine-making traditions in Ogliastra, recalls a great number of tourists who do not only love to savor this wine in all his variations, but are also keen on learning something about the wine-making process.

That is why the major wine producers of the area offer visiting tours in their wineries and wine yards including wine tasting itineraries. Visits and wine tasting are on request for a minimum of 6 persons, including retail sale and forwarding service. The most characteristic and renowned wineries of Ogliastra are those in Jerzu, Cardedu and Tortolì.
