Off-Roads

In Ogliastra there are also numerous routes traced for off-road tours, besides local centers with rental service and guides.

Among the practicable itineraries, the one of the Plain of the Golgo/Cala Sisine, ending in the bay of Cala Sisine touching characteristic points of interest such as the church of S. Pietro on the high land of the “Golgo”, and “Su Sterru, the deepest European canyon (270 m), the nuragical swimming pools of “As Piscinas” and the absolutely stunning view from the “Belvedere”, overlooking the entire Ogliastra; another itinerary is the very interesting archaeological tour of the Ogliastrian territory to the archaeological park, the “domus de Janas” and the “giant’s tomb” of Triei.
