In Sardinia it is possible to bicycle the whole year and the surroundings of the Hotel Villa Selene and the Ogliastra are rich of biking trails already signed or not yet beaten, from the deep canyons and paths of the coalmen down to the bays: ideal characteristics for keen mountain bikers or also for the ones who want to live an alternative kind of vacation. For those who don’t have their own bike or who just wants to “have a try”, our staff will certainly give guests advice how to contact bike rentals in the surroundings.

Among the itineraries already laid out in Ogliastra, the following are the most recommended: from the “Tacco” of Perda Liana to Seui, during this itinerary it is possible to admire the Gennargentu massif; the itinerary of the “pinnettos” of Baunei, which crosses a wild Sardinia where the traditions of the shepherds in their ancestral stone shelters are still alive. And finally, the itinerary Golgo/Punta Salinas, which arrives at the sea after crossing the territory of Seui, rich of “Tacchi” and cliffs.
