It is possible to make some full-day or half-day trips of naturalistic-archaeological interest with an experienced and professional guide, either by off-road or with own cars, pick up service at the Hotel Villa Selene. Certain sections of the excursion have to be made on foot.

The routes are different and the starting points can be agreed with the customers. These involve the alternation of visits of archaeological sites such as “Serbissi” at Osini, “Ruinas” at Villagrande; giants’ tombs in the forest “Selene”; nuraghe at Arzana, Seui, Loceri; “domus de janas” at Scerì, etc., with the vison of waterfalls, the Flumendosa lake and of natural monuments such as the “Golgo”, Perda Liana, the Grottoes “Su Marmuri”, the forest of Montarbu, a visit of the museum of oil in Ilbono, the museum “Maria Lai” in Ulassai, the wildlife oasis of the Sardinian deer by Urzulei and many others. A stop for lunch at the shepherds’, or you can enjoy a picnic lunch prepared by the hotel.
