In the restaurant of the Hotel Villa Selene we take care of creating a quiet and relaxing atmosphere making the guest feel at home.
Our healthy and tasty cuisine proposes not only the typical Ogliastrine dishes, but also dishes based on fish from our coasts as well as the traditional Italian dishes.
Some of our specialities are: ‘culurgiones’ (home-made ravioli of pasta, filled with potatoes, cheese and mint), ‘su porceddu’ (roast piglet, previous reservation for min. 6 persons. Last not least our desserts such as the home-made ice cream or our ‘biscotti alla crema’ (cream trifle).
For breakfast we like to molly-coddle our guests serving an inviting and rich buffet with treats and delicious food. A must are our home-made specialities: tiny little cream puffs, crêpes filled with various kinds of marmalade, yogurt au nature and an exquisite hot chocolate.
The restaurant, which opens also to non-residents, is situated in the hotel’s main building.
It has constituted of two wide and bright, air conditioned dining rooms with tasteful furnishing and a spectacular view over the hilly landscape of Lanusei down to the harbour of Arbatax and the crystal blue sea of the Ogliastrine coast.
The restaurant seats up to 300 persons, the dining rooms can be modulated according to requirements of space or privacy.
Lunch and dinner have table service; the breakfast has a self-service buffet. Opening times are 7.30 a.m. to 10 a.m., 1.00 p.m. to 2.30 p.m. and 8.00 p.m. to 9.30 p.m.

Drink & Relax
The Hotel Villa Selene’s Bar is the perfect location for an aperitif, a cocktail, a coffee or for a drink after dinner.
In a warm and friendly surrounding you can enjoy an atmosphere of relaxation and intimacy.
Comfortably sitting in an armchair in the front of an open fire sipping a cup of tea or a glass of punch during the winter evenings, listening to the crackling of the fire; or in summer enjoying the refreshing breeze, having a drink under a shady pergola of blooming wisteria on the panoramic terrace, verlooking the hilly landscape until the sea searching for the white shape of a lone fishing boat at the horizon.

Let time pass by slowly and enveloping: it won’t be a waste of time.
